Becoming a Better Trad Climber: Intro

Day 1: Gear placements and mock leading

Day 2: Anchors (gear and trees), belaying from above, rappelling, mock leading

Day 3: Leading your first trad pitch(es)

Day 4: Leading your first trad multi-pitch, clear communications, more rappel practice

Day 5: Optional Alpine day for additional discounted rate

Becoming a Better Trad Climber: Intermediate

Pre req: Experience leading multi-pitch trad; proficient with anchor building and gear placements; confident outdoor lead climbing

Day 1: Follow pitch/route that is harder than what you could lead; mock lead/lead at a lower lever

Day 2: Creative anchors, rope management (hanging belays), leading/mock leading a pitch, hanging/falling on gear

Day 3: First mini proj (breaking into new grades), falling/hanging on gear 

Day 4: Basic Rescue Skills


Becoming a Better Sport Climber: Intro

Day 1: Foundations: Intro to outdoor leading, basic anchors, anchor cleaning

Day 2: Rappelling and more anchor cleaning

Day 3: Leading, mock leading and falling

Day 4: Sport projecting skills

Becoming a Better Sport Climber: Intermediate

Day 1: Foundations: Mock leading harder grades/wimpy sticking - honing skills and communications

Day 2: Breaking into new grades

Day 3: Working with the mind

Day 4: Projecting tactics and integrating skills or birthday/special challenge!

Becoming a Better Multi-Pitch Climber: Intro

Day 1: Basic anchors and belaying from above, climb a short mult-pitch

Day 2: Lead pitch(es) on a multi-pitch, rappel

Day 3: Lead a longer multipitch, rope management skills (hanging belay)

Day 4: More pitches, rope skills and anchors, basic rescue

Becoming a Better Multi-Pitch Climber: Intermediate

Day 1: Climb a bigger multi-pitch (maybe trad follow)

Day 2: Lead/swap leads on a new climb

Day 3: Belaying 2 climbers; rappelling in a party of 3

Day 4: Efficiency practice, or more rescue skills
