Hi, I’m Becca Droz
PC: James Lucas
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, I ditched the city life to reside in the foothills of the rockies in Boulder, Colorado. Following my love of the outdoors, I earned my B.A. in Outdoor Leadership from Warren Wilson College near Asheville, NC in 2014. As the youngest of 4 kids in a lively Jewish family, my drive for individuation led me on a path of novelty, adventure, creativity and entrepreneurship.
For 15 years I have been drawn to rock climbing, first recreationally and then professionally. I love how climbing fulfills many avenues including physical activity, connection to nature, exploration of new places, practices of clear communication and needs in partnership, self reflection and personal growth.
My interest in understanding why we are the way we are and how we show up in our relationships led me to become an accredited Enneagram Practitioner. The Enneagram has been a wildly helpful tool in better understanding myself (type 7), my fiance (type 5) and my closest friendships and family. It provides a framework for transmuting frustrations into understanding, compassion and curiosity.
Starting at a young age, my attraction to novel experiences and big dreams led me to fulfill my childhood dream of being a contestant on the CBS reality show, The Amazing Race. To my delight, I got to Race around the world twice (seasons 29 and 31)! The openhearted energy “Team Fun” brought to the show landed my partner Floyd, (who was a stranger on season 29) and I as fan favorites in both of our seasons.
The Funstoppable spirit carries on. In 2021, I founded Funstoppable LLC to share uplifting energy through speaking engagements and merchandise: Fun O Meter buttons and socks (which are still available here).
Funstoppable LLC led the way to Sunrise Mindset, a brand created to inspire that same “Funstoppable” spirit of saying “yes” to life. Through guiding people on rock climbing adventures, group courses, and in Enneagram life coaching, I support people in choosing to live a life they love, because it’s something we all deserve.
